Python Developer

The Position

The Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for a talented and self-driven Python developer for cloud infrastructure team.  We expect you to bring your experience, enthusiasm and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to brand new problems and make things work when the solution is not straightforward.


  • develop and improve our cloud hosting solution in cooperation with other engineers
  • willingness to learn new things on a regular basis

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3+ years of development experience with Python
  • knowledge of Git version control system
  • experience with bash shell scripting and other scripting language like Perl or PHP
  • effective written and verbal communication skills

Main project: UniFi and UNMS cloud hosting

This is our newest team. We use modern technologies to provide cloud hosting of UniFi and UNMS controllers for our customers world-wide. We run thousands of instances in Google cloud with help of Kubernetes. Our main effort is in automation of tasks around hosting, therefore Javascript or Python knowledge is most welcome.
