Responsibilities
- Design and develop Android system on UI’s Android device.
- Review code developed by other team members and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Work with cross-teams to create great products.
- Requirements
- Experience with AOSP (or one its derivatives) -- syncing it, building it, debugging it, modifying it, contributing to it
- 4+ years of professional experience with one or more relevant areas of Android system (e.g., bootloader, kernel, hal, sepolicy, update-engine, etc. ).
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C, C++
- Experience with software version control and release via Git.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Android framework
- Strong shell and Python scripting skills
- Strong knowledge of debugging skills and good coding style.
